We started doing what will hopefully become a tradition after today... the Final Five! We'll spend the last five minutes of each day talking about our goals for the day and what we learned. We'll post them here for you to see! Maybe it will help them answer the neverending question when they get home from school... "What did you learn at school today?"
Today, we:
- learned how to estimate (candy pumpkins and pumpkin seeds!)
- read short vowel words in learning lab
- added periods to our sentences in writing
- talked about fall during first grade fun
