We had a visit from Police Officer Richardson today!
What we learned from Officer Richardson:
- a taser is something that controls a person's actions
- handcuffs are for getting people in the right place safely
- pepper spray gets in your eyes and calms you down
- police officers have belts to hold important things
- police officers have computers in their cars for tracking down bad guys
- police officers have guns in case they need to shoot someone
- police officers help return lost dogs
-police officers help find lost children
