We worked so hard today! Some of the things we did:
- We learned about Pilgrims.
- We learned to read in learning lab.
- We learned how to count by tens, starting at two.
- We wrote about our most thankful thing
- We had snack.
An example of great teamwork! Douglas and Cyrus worked together to out
their Thanksgiving sentence in order and draw a fabulous picture!
And a couple of pages from our class "thankful" book. (I might be in love with one!)
Welcome to our first grade blog! It is designed to create a better link between home and school. Enjoy and visit often!

Savannah's Soldiers
This morning I finished putting together our Veteran's Day letters to soldiers. The kids did a great job writing a thoughtful sentence and coloring. They were really excited to do this! Here's an example of a couple of our letters and the envelope ready to be mailed out!!
I mailed them to Savannah's Soldiers. For more info about this program, visit: http://www.savannahssoldiers.com/
